In a perfect world, we are always able to practice photography outdoors, on a warm beautiful day, with perfect lighting, and smiley kids. In the real world, that is rarely the case.
Whether you are a professional photographer, a hobby photographer, or just like to snap some pictures of your kids, you have the ability to control the lighting, location, and mood to produce beautiful pictures!
For those of you who are visual learners, like myself, I created a three short (and free) video tutorials to give you all the tools you need for wonderful and affordable pictures.
First: How to set up an in-home studio
For a complete guide, take a look at my post on setting up an in-home studio.
Second: Learn all about the options you have for lighting
To me, this is the most important part! You can read more about it at my “flash course” on flashes article.
Lastly: If you are photographing kids you don’t want to miss this one!
Kids can be, well, unpredictable! Make sure if you are photographing kids you have some tricks up your sleeves to capture some natural smiles! Check out my complete post on photographing kids here.
I hope that these videos help snapping your photos a little more simple!
